Hear ye! Hear ye!

We DO have it all in Nebraska!  We even have a pirate admiral!

Wait...Nebraska has a navy?? It's true!  Well, it's more tongue-in-cheek that military in nature. After all, Nebraska is a landlocked state. 

How does a pirate become an admiral in the Nebraska Navy?

Unbeknownst to Mike, a few of his most ardent supporters sent letters to Governor Dave Heineman, asking that Mike receive an admiralship.  We promised Governor Heineman that, although Mike is a pirate, he is a pirate of nice and he would be proud to be the first pirate admiral in the Great Nebraska Navy.

We feel that Mike more than deserves this honorary title and we're thrilled that we pulled off this surprise on his 44th birthday!  To learn more about Mike's new "title," click here.
